For the Italian production plant of Janssen (Borgo San Michele-Latina) we are looking for a Senior Manager Engineer responsible for the implementation of the Emerging Technology at a Global Level.
The MAM (Make Asset Management) Engineer will be a member of the MAKE Asset Management CoE.
The position is responsible to develop and govern an integrated MAKE assets technology strategy and deployment roadmap.
The core purpose of this role is to deliver innovative MAKE assets management technologies and capabilities to drive breakthrough assets performance.
The candidate will manage Project Planning and Execution for specific initiatives across platform projects as appropriate.
The CoE Engineer provides strategic and technical leadership to ensure all phases of in-scope activities are supported and result in operational solutions to business needs. The CoE Engineer drives end to end standardization across platforms and ensures common approaches and solutions are adopted in all plants within the platforms through the provision of structure, framework and oversight, with the technical content provided by the platforms.
Tasks, duties and Responsibilities:
Work closely with the entire MAM Organizations and create linkages and partnerships with internal and external teams for the execution of the following elements:
+ Develop and govern a make asset technology strategy and deployment roadmap connected with MFF strategy
+ Create a set of interfaces with internal teams such as MAM Platform & Site engineers, JJT, MFF, JJPS and other teams to assess readiness and identify opportunities and business value to introduce breakthrough technologies delivering value across MTO
+ Take ownership of APO portfolio of MFF as active member on MFF steering committee
+ Represent the conduit between MFF teams and MAM creating alignment between the teams and optimizing the role that MAM can deliver in enhancing customer value in innovation and digital manufacturing.
+ Work with external teams and internal partners to create and build new partnerships and alliances with third parties to support building and implementing a technology roadmap for the organization
+ Join COP (community of practice) with internal teams within J&J teams who are evaluating new technologies and agree assessment and deployment evaluation parameters
+ Represent the MAM CoE on current and emerging new technologies boards and governance bodies across the organization
+ Put in place key measures and performance metrics to track each new technology deployment to facilitate reporting against success and value realization criteria
The candidate will also manage Project Planning and Execution for specific across platform projects.
He/She will be the primary interface (SPOC) with selected partners as assigned by the CoE Lead:
+ Proactively build connections with internal and external teams to understand and evaluate opportunities within a robust governance framework
+ Identify and align with third parties and internal partners, sites and functions to test new technologies completing proof of concept for pilot deployments
+ Providing alignment and consistent prioritization of projects to support the ambition of the organization with respect to value being delivered by new technologies and modalities
+ Proven experience in new technology introduction and new modalities
+ Strong expertise in technology roadmap development & oversight and monitor delivery of roadmaps.
+ Functional knowledge of/and proven experience in equipment and systems within pharmaceuticals (small and/or large molecule manufacturing facilities) and experience of life cycle asset management in a manufacturing environment
+ Strong expertise in Business Case and Value Realization Process
+ Proven project management capability
+ Proven experience in defining business processes, measuring performance and identifying approaches to improve and deliver value
+ Strong acumen in business management in a Cross Functional , Matrix Environment
+ Experience in an operational, business excellence, pharma manufacturing automation, engineering and/or maintenance type of environment is key
+ 10 years experience in pharma manufacturing (small and/or large molecule manufacturing facilities)
